Calling all students out there! If you’re a native speaker of Dutch and have a strong passion for your language and culture, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for students for our Speech Transcription Team: you can do it from wherever you want as long as you own a computer, have access to a good internet connection and possess good listening skills.
If you want to get some extra cash (to upgrade your noodles to... you know… actual food) but don’t want to commit to a full-time or part-time job, keep reading!
This is what we need:
Native speakers of Dutch
Good level of English.
A high-speed internet connection.
Ability to listen to audios and get a perfect transcription. This includes inserting tags (i.e. to mark additional voices or background noise) and following some simple rules. Don’t worry! We provide thorough instructions and will be here to support you!
Attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines – which we’re sure you all already have because that’s the basis of being a student! :)
And this is what you get:
Ability to work from home. There’s no need for you to get dressed or get out of bed if you don’t feel like it. You can also go to the library and blast the audios, but don’t hold us accountable if they kick you out!
Flexible schedule: we expect you to work 10-15 hours per week, but it’s up to you how you plan your time. You can do it between lectures (or during, depends on your ninja skills).
Language experience with a great company. We have projects like this all the time and will take you into account for all upcoming projects.
Payment per hour. You get what you work for!
More autonomy over your working day: you meet your deadlines and we don’t ask questions.
Possibility to build up a great reputation with clients from around the world.
