Junior Account Payable Analyst


Functie omschrijving

  • You will perform day-to-day Accounts Payable activities for our OTA tribe:
  • Ensure all invoices and payment requests are authorised and the accounts are reconciled and processed according to company policies and accounting regulations;
  • Collaborate closely with our Customer Support team, dealing with financial disputes and the overall chargeback level for the whole OTA business;
  • Keep track and make sense of all kinds of refunds to customers;
  • Fully support the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts payables functions;
  • Run weekly balance reconciliations;
  • Control and verify the flow of funds from the source (customer to Payment Service Provider) to the destinations (bank to suppliers);
  • Ensure all proper financial invoices controls are adhered to, and report it into the Finance Manager and Tribe Lead;
  • Be the point of contact for our suppliers regarding payments and payables, handle escalations, and reply to raised queries;
  • Help the OTA tribe with administrative tasks if needed;
  • Control currency conversion across the payment process.

Functie eisen

  • You have 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Finance, more specifically in accounts payables/receivables applied to Marketplace, eCommerce, or ePayment environments;
  • You have a good understanding of the end-to-end payment process;
  • You have experience building reports from scratch;
  • You enjoy working on continuously improving the controllership framework, developing metrics and reports;
  • Accounting skills, financial background and experience with ERP (financial module) are a strong plus;
  • You have a basic knowledge of any of the BI tools, e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker;
  • You are a curious, open and enthusiastic person who picks things up quickly and likes to dig into them;
  • You have a collaborative mindset and the desire to contribute to wider team success, being an integral part of a high-performance business unit;
  • You can be trusted with confidential information, and are good at building solid relationships with stakeholders;
  • You are eligible to work in the Netherlands.
