At Philips IGT Devices, a Philips business, we are working on industry leading solutions helping clinicians on deciding, guiding, treating and confirming the right therapy for each patient in real-time during image-guided therapies (IGT). We are a global leader in physiology and intravascular imaging for coronary and peripheral applications.

As German Speaking Customer Service/Sales Support Representative, you are responsible for the order to cash process within the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), being the first point of contact of customers and sales in the field. Through your support, you contribute to the growth of the market. You will operate relatively autonomously within procedures, methods and techniques and complete your work with some degree of supervision.

You will be part of Direct Sales Support Team, a group of 10 colleagues from different nationalities and cultures and you will report into the Team Leader Sales Support Direct Markets of IGT Devices International. The role is based in Zaventem (BELGIUM).

Your tasks

    • Manage orders from intake to invoice

    • Follow up on shipments through DHL websites and other couriers

    • Keep track of open order backlog

    • Make sure that delivery or credit block are released to ensure fast delivery

    • Process orders of medical equipment, manage the necessary documentation, seek for approvals and signatures

    • Manage incoming calls and respond fast to customer or sales managers enquiries

    • Understand the need of customers, determine priority and initiate action accordingly

    • Initiate escalations to the next level of competencies when required, including identification, registration and follow-up of incidents

    • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives following up to ensure resolution

    • Organize returns of goods if necessary and issue credit notes appropriately

Functie eisen

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • Bachelor degree in any discipline

    • Native German or motherrongue level in both oral and written. Fluent English. Fluency in any other European language will be an asset

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills as well as high intercultural awareness

    • Customer centric

    • Passionate about driving change and performing while transforming

    • Flexibility and proactivity
