Within our Global User Services (GUS) department we manage a broad range of communication tasks focusing on IT projects and services. We are looking for a communication specialist who can start as soon as possible – it is a temporary position with prospect of a permanent appointment within Medtronic.
As part of the activities, you will create and execute a communication plan and deliver communication material for different channels, e.g. email/website/interactive online channel. You will make an impact in the experience of our end users by improving the technical IT information into simple and easy to read content.
Next to this, your GUS colleagues will ask you to help them with the visual design of presentations (powerpoint), meaning you have an eye for design and know how to convert complex messages to keywords and visuals while keeping the Medtronic branding in mind (e.g. colors and icons).
Other supporting tasks might include: maintenance updates, newsletters, employee interviews and Townhall materials.
- Experience in a communication role
- Excellent written communication skills (in English)
- Experience in creative text writing and editing
- Pro-active and hands-on attitude if it comes to operational tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in International Management/Communication is a pre
- Experience in producing attractive and effective graphic designs (e.g. using Adobe Illustrator) is a pre
